Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit (Renewal)  

Sets Sanitation has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-105 which allows for the transport of septage, holding tank waste and portable toilet waste to be disposed of at the Kent County Sewer System.

On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System

Burton’s Pond, LLC has submitted an application for a Temporary Holding Tank Permit to serve The Villas at Walden. The system has been designed to accommodate 4,200  gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located on the southeast side of the intersection of Sloan Rd and Rt. 24, Sussex County, tax parcel #2-34-17.00-29.00.

Burton’s Pond, LLC has submitted an application for a Temporary Holding Tank Permit to serve the Walden Subdivision. The system has been designed to accommodate 8,400  gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located on the southwest side of the intersection of Hollymount Rd and Rt. 24, Sussex County, tax parcel #2-34-17.00-17.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
