The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of 4601 North Market Street Site, located in Wilmington, Delaware.  The Site was previously operated as a commercial shopping mall.  The Site requires the following: an Environmental Covenant restricting use to non-residential; restriction of groundwater use; and a Contaminated Material Management Plan.  The Site is proposed to be redeveloped as a self-storage facility.

DNREC issued public notice of the Proposed Plan for 4601 North Market Street Site on June 2, 2019.  There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan.
