Delaware continues to explore opportunities and challenges presented by the growing offshore wind industry. The state has set a target of achieving 40% renewable energy by 2035. Climate and Sustainability Initiatives

DNREC’s Climate and Sustainability Section is charged with reducing the greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change and improving Delaware’s resiliency to impacts of climate change.
