In accordance with the Delaware Coastal Zone Act (7 Del. Code, Ch. 70), and the “Regulations Governing Delaware’s Coastal Zone,”  this notice is to announce that the Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control (DNREC) has received a Request for a Coastal Zone Act Status Decision from Delmarva Power & Light Company.  The applicant is seeking a decision as to whether they must apply for approval to develop a satellite liquefied natural gas facility, at their property on River Road, in New Castle, Delaware.

The application is available for inspection online: https://dnrec.delaware.gov/coastal-zone-act/. 

The public is invited to review the application and send comments to DNREC, 100 W. Water Street, Dover, DE 19904, attention Erin Wilson. All comments should be at the DNREC by close of business on June 28^th, 2019.  Afterwards, the DNREC Secretary will make a decision on this application and notify the public.
