Allocation Permits

Bethany Bay Homeowners Association has requested an allocation permit for one existing irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 230,400 gallons per day. The well is located north of Oceanview in Sussex County, near the intersection of Pettinaro and Pavilion Drives. Tax parcel 134-8.00-42.00.

Betty H. Marose has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 936,000 gallons per day. The well will be located west of Harrington in Kent County, near the intersection of Whiteleysburg and Brownsville Roads. Tax parcel MN00-169.00-01-09.00.

MC Daisey Farms, LLC has requested an allocation permit for one existing irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 1,584,000 gallons per day. The well is located east of Laurel in Sussex County, near the intersection of Shiloh Church and Johnson Drives. Tax parcel 232-14.00-20.00.

William H. Smith has requested an allocation permit for six existing irrigation wells. The maximum daily withdrawal is 4,540,000 gallons per day. The wells are located north of Milton in Sussex County, near the intersection of Reynolds and Broadkill Roads. Tax parcels 235-7.00-160.00, 235-7.00-160.01, 235-15.00-23.00, 235-15.00-22.00, 235-8.00-38.00, 235-8.00-38.00.

Alternative Method of Compliance

Edward P. Frederick has applied for an Alternative Method of Compliance under Section 12.0 of The Delaware Regulations Governing the Construction and Use of Wells to construct a Public well to serve an antique facility.  The property is located at 5714 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE, 19807. A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by January 27, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
