Spray Irrigation Permit

Hometown Angola Beach, LLC has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for reissuance of State of Delaware Spray Irrigation Operations Permit DEN Number 359000-03. The permit authorizes the operation and maintenance of the Hometown America Angola Estates Wastewater Treatment Facility. Hometown Angola Beach, LLC has also applied for an amendment to the Operations Permit to incorporate the upgrades to the existing wastewater treatment facility and the expansion of the disposal area that were constructed in accordance with State of Delaware Spray Irrigation Construction Permit DEN Number 359000-04. The Angola Beach & Estates Wastewater Treatment Facility is a domestic wastewater treatment and spray irrigation facility serving Angola Beach and Angola Estates developments. The facility is located west of County Road 278 and south of County Road 277, Sussex County Delaware. The spray irrigation fields are located on Suburban Drive adjacent to the office and clubhouse in the Angola Estates development, Sussex County, Delaware: Sussex County Tax Map Parcel Number 234-18.00-1.0.

On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System

Two Farms, Inc. has applied for an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system permit.  The system has been designed to accommodate 2,480 gallons per day generated by a Royal Farms Store. The site is located at the intersection for Pearsons Corner Rd. and Halltown Rd. in Hartly, DE, tax map # WD 74.00-02-3.00.

Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit

Liquid Environmental Solutions has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit to transport grease trap waste and/or cooking oil waste to be disposed of at out-of-state permitted facilities.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
