Wastewater Facilities Construction Permit Applications

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Artesian Wastewater Management, Inc., of Milton, Sussex County, Delaware, to construct a pump station with dual pumps and related appurtenances and four hundred and sixty seven linear feet of eight inch (467 LF of 8”) forcemain to serve the proposed Anchor’s Run residential subdivision, Oakwood Village, Oakcrest Farm and Wil King Corridor County District. The pump station will be located within the proposed Anchor’s Run residential subdivision, which is located on Beaver Dam Road at the intersection of Stockley Road in Lewes, Delaware, while the forcemain will be constructed from the pump station, run northwards and tie into an existing forcemain located along the northern boundary line of the proposed Anchor’s Run residential subdivision.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before January 26, 2020.   A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
