The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of Former Electric Hose and Rubber Site located in Wilmington. The Site, once used as manufacturing facility, which produced wire and textile reinforced hose, required a cap, an environmental covenant restricting the property to commercial use, and a long-term stewardship plan.

DNREC issued public notice of the Proposed Plan for the Former Electric Hose and Rubber Site on July 8, 2020. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
