Federal Consistency Determinations: PSEG Offshore Wind Support Marine Terminal Facility

Federal Consistency Certifications have been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: PSEG Offshore Wind Support Marine Terminal Facility (2020.0061)

In partnership with New Jersey Economic Development Authority, Public Service Enterprises Group (PSEG) proposes to develop an offshore wind marshalling port at the Salem and Hope Creek Generating Station on Artificial Island, Salem County, NJ, to support offshore wind development in New Jersey and throughout the eastern United States. The site would be used to stage and assemble large wind turbine components prior to installation at an offshore location. The Delaware Coastal Management Program is reviewing in-water activities related to this project, which include dredging 1.96 million cubic yards of material within an 86-acre footprint, filling 68,400 cubic yards, and the construction of the berthing areas waterward of the bulkhead line.
