The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up of the Sixteenth Street Quarry Site located at 1601 N. Spruce Street and 1401 N. Church Street in Wilmington. The Site, once used as a quarry since the late 1800s requires an Environmental Covenant for OU-1 and 2; Contaminated Materials Management Plan for OU1 and 2; and a Long Term Stewardship Plan for OU-1 for maintenance of the existing cap; and any filling will be conducted in accordance with the Soil Reuse Policy.
