The Department has adopted an amended final plan regarding the clean-up of the Trails & Pathways, Christina Pedestrian Bridge, located in Wilmington. The Site was historically a former railroad grade and bridge where both were removed and replaced with a multi-use trail and bridge. The remedy includes operating under a Contaminated Material Management Plan, completed removal of visible waste material and recording an Environmental Covenant. The amended final plan clarifies the details of the Environmental Covenant.

DNREC issued public notice of the Amended Proposed Plan for the Trails & Pathways, Christina Pedestrian Bridge on August 19, 2020. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Amended Proposed Plan. Details of the Amended Final Plan may be reviewed upon request.
