Wastewater Facilities Construction Permit Application: Boardwalk Development, LLC

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Boardwalk Development, LLC proposes to construct a submersible sanitary sewer pump station, an emergency generator and approximately two thousand and four hundred linear feet (2,400 LF) of four (4) inch diameter force main to serve two hundred and one (201) single family homes in the proposed Windswept at Lewes subdivision located at the southeast corner of Angola and Angola Beach Road approximately 1.5 miles west of Rehoboth Bay in Sussex County, Delaware.  The force main will be installed within Windswept at Lewes and discharge to the existing Sussex County gravity manhole AN-124 at the Angola Road and Angola Beach Road intersection.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before August 26, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
