Public Notice: Water Supply Allocation Permits

W.C. Farms, LLC has requested an irrigation allocation for one proposed and one existing irrigation wells. The maximum daily withdrawal for the wells will be 2,268,000 gallons per day. The wells will be located north of Harrington in Kent County, near the intersection of Jarrells and Welch Acres Rd. Tax parcel MN-00-159.00-01-17.00.001.

H & M Allen Family Ltd Partnership has requested an irrigation allocation for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal for the well will be 1,080,000 gallons per day. The well will be located east of Bridgeville in Sussex County, near the intersection of Chaplins Chapel Rd and Seashore Hwy. Tax parcel 4-30-23.00-5.00.

Phillip Vasey has requested an irrigation allocation for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal for the well will be 432,000 gallons per day. The well will be located southwest of Milford in Sussex County, near the intersection of Horse Cart Ln and Appels Rd. Tax parcel 1-30-8.00-34.00.

Alan Garey has requested an irrigation allocation for three existing irrigation wells. The maximum daily withdrawal for the well will be 2,160,000 gallons per day. The wells will be located west of Harrington in Kent County, near the intersection of Park Brown and Fox Hunters Rds. Tax parcel MN-00-169.00-01-10.00.

Alan Garey has requested an irrigation allocation for one existing irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal for the well will be 648,000 gallons per day. The well will be located west of Harrington in Kent County, near the intersection of Park Brown and Fox Hunters Rds. Tax parcel MN-00-169.00-01-5.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by March 25, 2019, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
