Water Allocation Permit Applications

Siemens Health Diagnostics, Inc. has requested a renewal of its industrial water allocation for one existing industrial well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 316,800 gallons per day. The well will be located south of Newark in New Castle County, near the intersection of South College Avenue and Old Cooches Bridge Road. Tax parcel 110-18.00-58.

Kenny Brothers Produce, LLC. has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 864,000 gallons per day. The well will be located in the town of Bridgeville in Sussex County, near the intersection of Adams Road and Palmer Lane. Tax parcel 131-6.00-2.00.

Bayliss Estates Investments, LLC. has requested an allocation permit for one proposed agricultural well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 259,000 gallons per day. The well will be located east of Millsboro in Sussex County, near the intersection of Mt Joy Road and Bayliss Avenue. Tax parcel 234-29.00-42.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by March 30, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
