Bridlewood, LLC has applied for a Formal Waiver to construct an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system (OWTDS) on their property located at 17703 Bridlewood Road, Milton, DE, Sussex County tax parcel 235-24.00-205.00. The request is being made to allow the OWTDS to be sand-lined into the estimated zone of saturation/seasonal high water table due to compacted and slowly permeable soils. The proposed OWTDS is a sand-lined Peat Bio-filter that will serve a single-family dwelling with a maximum design flow of 600 gallons per day.

The proposed OWTDS is either a sand-lined sand mound or a sand-lined Peat Bio-filter that will serve a single-family dwelling with a maximum design flow of 600 gallons per day.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
