Stephen Eisel (335-4.18-88.00)-To remove all existing boat docking structures and install two (2) 3.5 by 18 foot long gangways a 6 by 30 foot long dock, a 6 by 17 foot long dock, two (2) 6 x 20 foot long docks, and to replace 103 linear feet of bulkhead in the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal at 550 Pilottown Road, Lewes, Sussex County, DE

Delaware Center for the Inland Bays (Big Bacon Island Reef: 38.63341, -75.08111; Angola Neck Reef: 38.65452, -75.126111; Little Assawoman Reef: 38.475390, -75.055251) To create three (3) off-shore reefs composed of two mound reefs at each location by installing a total of 10.71 cubic yards of cinder block and 55.56 cubic yards of oyster shell with coir fiber matting draped over each mound located 1) Big Bacon Island Reef: approximately 690 feet west of Big Bacon Island in the Rehoboth Bay (38.63341, -75.08111), 2) Angola Neck Reef: approximately 128 feet east of Angola Neck Peninsula in the Rehoboth Bay (38.65452, -75.126111) and 3) Little Assawoman Reef: approximately 280 feet west of the shoreline, north of Seal Island in the Little Assawoman Bay (38.475390, -75.055251), Sussex County, DE

Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
