Lewes Yacht Club (3-35-4.14-51.00) – To authorize and maintain a 65 slip marina to utilize and maintain a 6 by 70 foot long floating dock, a 6 by 81 foot long floating dock, a 6 by 300 foot long floating dock, a 8 by 186 foot long floating dock, a 8 by 175 foot long floating dock, a 4 by 16 foot long floating finger pier, (12) 4 by 20  foot long floating finger piers, (13) 4 by 14 foot long floating finger piers, (2) 4 by 32 foot long gangways, (3) 3 by 32 foot long gangways, a 22 by 60 foot long boat ramp, (2) 1 by 60 foot long wingwalls, a 6 by 60 foot long floating courtesy pier and a 12 by 8 foot long aquamaster submersible aerator (model#760063), 58 freestanding pilings, and to install a 6 by 20 foot long floating courtesy pier in a marina basin adjacent to the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal at 2701 Cedar Street, Lewes, Sussex County, DE

Eastern Shore Natural Gas (multiple locations, not included in application but applicant was emailed to provide these for Fish and Wildlife) – To install a 16 inch gas pipeline by open trench cutting under Red House Branch and Tidbury Creek from Dover to Viola, Kent County, DE. Jones (2-33-6.00-14.02) – To remove two existing structures and to construct a 4 by 4 foot long set of stairs, a 3 by 15 foot long section of pier flaring out to a 4 by 26 foot long section of pier, a 3.5 by 8 foot long gangway connecting to a 6 by 30 foot long dock, to install a boatlift with 4 associated pilings, and one stand-alone mooring piling in Island Creek at 29945 Faber Lane, Dagsboro, Sussex County, DE

Subaqueous Lands Permit and Water Quality Application

R.E. Pierson Construction, Inc (Dredging Activity: 39.782525, -75.447515) – To hydraulically new dredge 11,000 ± cubic yards of material to a depth of – 8 feet MLW at the confluence of the Delaware River and Oldman’s Creek and to dispose of the dredged material, directly adjacent to the dredged location, via hydraulic pipeline located at the  U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Pedricktown Material Placement Complex confined disposal facility in Oldmans Township, Salem County, NJ

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice.  Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
