Subaqueous Lands Permit Application

Delaware Solid Waste Authority – (232-9.00-19.00) – To replace 6 pipe culverts and to maintenance dredge 2,816 cubic yards of material from Beaver Dam Ditch, at 28560 Landfill Lane, Georgetown, Sussex County, DE

Jeanne Vandersal – (1-34-13.00-1715.00) – To construct a 3 by 7 foot long set of steps with an associated handrail, a 3 by 10 foot long walkway, and a 4 by 7 foot long dock in Salt Pond, at 31905 Jeremys Branch, Salt Pond Unit #23, Bethany Beach, Sussex County, DE

John Clark – (430-6.00-7.00) – To install two 30 foot long 48 inch diameter culvert pipes with associated fill, and two rip-rap aprons within the St. Johnstown Tax Ditch adjacent to 12203 Utica Road, Greenwood, Sussex County, DE.  

Subaqueous Lands Lease Application

Dawn Weaver – (2-34-34.10-70.00) – To construct a 4 by 130 foot long  pier, a 6 by 24 foot long linear dock, 2 boat lifts with 4 associated pilings each in Warwick Cove, at 28840 Point View Road, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice.  Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
