Water Allocation Permit Applications: Oa-BP Marina Bay-Lakeside, LLC

Oa-BP Marina Bay-Lakeside, LLC has requested an allocation permit for one proposed agricultural well and eleven existing agricultural wells. The maximum daily withdrawal is 950, 040 gallons per day. The wells are located east of Millsboro in Sussex County, near the intersection of Marina Bay Circle and Nicklaus Avenue. Tax parcels 234-30.00-367, 234-30-308, 234-30-311, 234-30-313, 234-30-314, 230-30-312.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by September 2, 2019, at 4:30 p.m.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
