On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System

Felton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses has applied for on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system permit.  The system has been designed to accommodate 2,200 gallons per day generated by a church. The site is located on 450 Upper King Road in Felton, DE, tax map #7-00-120.00-01-06.02.

Baylis Estates Investsments, LLC has submitted an application for a Temporary Holding Tank Permit to serve the Baylis Estates Subdivision. The system has been designed to accommodate 6,000 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located at 30542 Mt. Joy Road, Sussex County, tax parcel #2-34-29.00-0042.00.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
