John Truitt has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 576,000 gallons per day. The well will be located east of Blades in Sussex County, near the intersection of Concord and Fleetwood Pond Roads. Tax parcel 132-8.00-36.00.

Richard B. Hedges Trustee has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 432,000 gallons per day. The well will be located southwest of Georgetown in Sussex County, near the intersection of Asbury and Baker Mill Roads. Tax parcel 231-18.00-34.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by November 4, 2019, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
