Celebrate Earth Day by joining a volunteer cleanup of Concord Pond, in Seaford.

The DNREC Division of Watershed Stewardship’s Reclaim Our River Program – Nanticoke Series, in partnership with the Delaware Nature Society’s Abbott’s Mill Nature Center and the Nanticoke Watershed Alliance, will host the cleanup as part of a month-long celebration of Earth Day.

Volunteers will remove trash from the area and see demonstrations on how to identify and remove invasive plant species.

Gloves, trash bags and some trash grabbers will be provided. Participants should bring their own trash grabbers, if they have them.

Registration is now open for volunteers.
