DNREC and state and federal partners will hold a virtual meeting to provide information to the community regarding ethylene oxide.

Ethylene oxide is a colorless gas with a faintly sweet odor. It is a volatile organic chemical and a hazardous air pollutant.

The meeting will include information presented by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Delaware Division of Public Health and Croda. It will address ethylene oxide concerns that have been raised by members of the community by providing information regarding available health data, risk estimates, facility updates and ongoing activities to address emissions.

There will be an opportunity for questions during the meeting. Questions can also be submitted prior to the meeting by email.
