Licenses and Permits

The Division of Fish & Wildlife manages licenses, permits, registrations, stamps and conservation access passes related to fishing, hunting, boating, and the use of state wildlife areas.

Note: Because of the public health restrictions of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, recreational license sales at DNREC offices are suspended.

To encourage Delawareans to be active outdoors and to provide space for activity, no fees will be charged or passes required for entrance to state wildlife areas until April 30.

For information on commercial fishing and commercial fishing licenses, contact Vicki Rhodes at 302.739.9916.

Attention Commercial Striped Bass Quota Holders

Just fill out the required form and return it to Commercial Licensing. The form can be mailed, faxed, scanned or emailed. You can take a photo of it and email it, etc. Call Commercial Licensing at 302-739-9916 for more information.
