Permit Application

Notice has been given that:

Agilent Technologies, Inc., requests a construction permit to replace an oven at their First State Blvd, Newark Delaware facility. The new oven will be permitted under Permit: APC-2022/0068-Construction and will replace the oven covered under Permit: APC-1992/0006-Construction/Operation (Amendment 03). The replacement oven is the same make and model. It will have the same permitted emissions of 1.72 TPY of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), 1.72 TPY of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP), 4.29 TPY of Ammonia, and 0.98 TPY of Acetone as the old oven.

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Tracy Mattson at (302) 739 9402.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday, April 18, 2022. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
