7 DE Admin. Code 1102 Natural Minor Permit Applications: Agilent Technologies

Notice has been given that:

Agilent Technologies, Inc., requests construction/operation permits to increase their emissions from two burn off ovens at their First State Blvd, Newark Delaware facility to accommodate for an increase in production. The ovens will be permitted to emit 1.72 TPY of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), 1.72 TPY of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP), 4.29 TPY of Ammonia, and 0.98 TPY of Acetone each by Permit# Permit: APC-1997/0521-Construction (Amendment 01) and Permit: APC-1992/0006-Construction/Operation (Amendment 02).

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Tracy Mattson at (302) 739-9402.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending July 6, 2021.  A request for a hearing shall be in writing.  The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
