The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the Berkshire Property Site (DE- 1772) located at 3609 South State Street in Camden Wyoming. Historically, the Site has operated as orchards and agricultural land. The selected remedy includes a combination of soil blending and excavation to achieve residential cleanup concentrations for arsenic; removal of the onsite aboveground and underground storage tanks; and the site groundwater use restriction via recording of an environmental covenant.

DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the Berkshire Property Site on January 5, 2023. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: den.dnrec.delaware.gov
