Flood Hazard Map Revision: Bundicks Branch

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) Division of Watershed Stewardship, hereby gives notice of Sussex County’s (Community No. 100029) intent to revise the flood hazard information, along Bundicks Branch generally located between Beaver Dam Road and Cool Spring Road/County Road 290 and along Tributary to Bundicks Branch from the confluence with Bundicks Branch to Dairy Farm Road. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along Bundicks Branch from the confluence with Love Creek to a point approximately 4,940 feet upstream of Cool Spring Road. The flood hazard information for Tributary to Bundicks Branch shall be revised from the confluence with Bundicks Branch to a point approximately just downstream of Dairy Farm Road.

As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall be established along Bundicks Branch and Tributary to Bundicks Branch, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen and narrow within the area of revision for both Bundicks Branch and Tributary to Bundicks Branch.
