Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit

Hollis Warren Inc. has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-004 which allows for the transport of septage, holding tank waste, grease trap waste and/or cooking oil waste to be disposed of at the Kent County Sewer System and in accordance with Agricultural Utilization Permit AGU 2007-K-03 (and subsequent amendments).

On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System

Victor Reality, LLC has applied for a permit to install an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system (septic system) on their property located at 20952 Sussex Highway Seaford, DE 19973 Sussex County Tax parcel number 331-4.00-119.00. The system will serve an existing retail commercial establishment and have a design flow rate of 1525 gallons per day.

Formal Waiver

Mr. Travis Knaper Reid has applied for a Formal Waiver to install an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system (septic system) on his property located on the east side of Jones Road ~640’ south of Burton Farm Road near Frankford, DE 19945 Sussex County Tax map number 134-14.00-41.01 The Formal Waiver request is being made to request relief from the setbacks required from the water courses that extend the length of both the north and south property lines. The system will serve a residential dwelling with a design flow rate of 360 gallons per day.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
