On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System

Thompson Schell, LLC has submitted an application for a Temporary Holding Tank Permit to serve the Woodfield Preserve development. The system has been designed to accommodate 7,920 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located at 15272 Crape Myrtle Road, Sussex County, tax parcel #2-35-9.00-23.00.

Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit

Tony Streett & Sons Septic Service has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-242 which allows for the transport of septage and holding tank waste to be disposed of at the Sussex County Sewer System.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
