Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit Applications

Willey & Co., Inc. has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-426 which allows for the transport of septage and holding tank waste to be disposed of at the City of Seaford and Town of Laurel.

Clean Delaware LLC has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-013 which allows for the transport of septage, holding tank waste, grease trap waste and/or cooking oil waste, portable toilet waste, municipal or industrial biosolids, sludge from package treatment plants; leachate and non-hazardous liquid waste to be disposed of at the following locations: Clean Delaware facilities; Kent County Sewer System; Sussex County Sewer System; out-of-state permitted facilities; and in accordance with Agricultural Utilization Permit AGU 1702-S-03 (and subsequent amendments): The Milton Farm Site (tax parcels 2-35-14.00-1.00; 2-35-14.00-2.00; 2-35-14.00-3.00; 2-35-14.00-60.00); the Harbeson site (tax parcel 2-35-30.00-62.00); and the Ellendale site (tax parcel 2-35-6.00-12.00).

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
