McIntyre has applied for a formal Waiver to install an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system (septic system) on his property known as Lot 10, Block D, Avalon Park near Georgetown, DE Sussex County Tax Parcel 234-15.00-190.00. The Formal Waiver request is being made at this time to allow remediation to take place due to damage done to the soil on the lot during clearing and preparation to install an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system. The Formal Waiver request is being made at this time because the depth to the limiting zone in the soil on the property does not meet current regulatory requirements. The system will serve a single-family dwelling and an in-law residence with a combined design flow rate not to exceed 600 gallons per day.
