Notice is hereby given that Delaware Health & Social Services- Herman Holloway Campus has submitted an application, pursuant to 7 DE Admin. Code 1102, Section 2.1, 11.2.9, and 12.3 for an amendment to their facility wide synthetic minor permit at 1901 N. Dupont Highway, New Castle, Delaware. 

Delaware Health & Social Services- Herman Holloway Campus requests that the permit be amended to include the location of a 100 kW Whisperwatt emergency generator and include the new 125 kW natural gas fired Kohler emergency generator.

The application, the “draft” permit (Permit: APC-2019/0003-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION (Amendment 1)(NSPS)(SM)), all materials that the applicant has submitted (other than those granted confidential treatment under DNREC rules), and a copy or summary of other materials, if any, considered in preparing the “draft” permit may be reviewed upon request. The application and “draft” permit is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing concerning the permitting action will not be held unless the Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control receives a request for such hearing within thirty (30) days from the date of this notice, ending January 11, 2021. A request for a hearing shall be in writing and must show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
