Edward Maas Trustee has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 650 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.35 million gallons (MG) per day, 5.27 MG per month, and 19.0 MG per year. The well will be located 2 miles North of Lewes in Sussex County, on Sam Lucas Road. Tax parcel 2-35-20.00-0054.00.

Willis Kirk has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 400 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.44 million gallons (MG) per day, 5.76 MG per month, and 11.52 MG per year. The well will be located 5 miles from Laurel in Sussex County, on Sycamore Road. Tax parcel 2-32-08.00-0042.00.

Arley Taylor has requested an allocation permit for two proposed irrigation wells with a combined capacity of 500 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.79 million gallons (MG) per day, 12.7 MG per month, and 20.0 MG per year. The wells will be located in Greenwood in Kent County, on Greenwood Road. Tax parcels MN-00-198.00.01-41.00.000 and 28.

Thomas Webb has requested an allocation permit for two proposed irrigation wells with a combined capacity of 800 gpm. The requested allocation is 1.1 million gallons (MG) per day, 8.7 MG per month, and 16.4 MG per year. The wells will be located South of Dover in Kent County, on Kitts Hummock Road. Tax parcel ED -106.00.01-01.00.000.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by March 14, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
