C B Bennet, Sr. Family Limited has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 400 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.58 million gallons (MG) per day, 1.81 MG per month, and 5.43 MG per year. The well will be located 2.75 miles South of Slaughter Beach in Sussex County on Fowler Beach Road. Tax parcel 2-30-09.00-0002.00.

Kings Creek Country Club has requested an allocation permit for two existing irrigation wells with a capacity of 250 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.30 million gallons (MG) per day, 8.0 MG per month, and 32.0 MG per year. The wells are located at Rehoboth Beach on Kings Creek Circle. Tax parcel 3-34-01.30-1158.00.

James Bowman has requested an allocation permit for two existing irrigation wells with a capacity of 500 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.74 million gallons (MG) per day, 8.83 MG per month, and 35.32 MG per year. The wells are located 2.5 miles North of Milford in Sussex County on Bowman Road. Tax parcel MD-00-162.00-01-68.00.000.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by May 9, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
