Allocation Permit

Ralph Givens has requested an allocation permit for one existing irrigation well and one proposed irrigation well. The requested allocation is 1.16 million gallons (MG) per day, 18.57 MG per month, and 76.62 MG per year. The wells will be located south of Seaford in Sussex County, near the intersection of Johnson and Gum Branch Roads. Tax parcel 132-6.00-88.00.

Manship Farms, LLC has requested a modification of its irrigation water allocation for one existing irrigation well and one proposed irrigation well. The requested allocation is 0.88 MG per day, 14.2 MG per month, and 58.2 MG per year. The wells will be located northwest of Milton in Sussex County, near the intersection of Reynolds Pond and Isaacs Roads. Tax parcel 235-6.00-19.00.

Alternative Method of Compliance

Joseph Booth has applied for an Alternative Method of Compliance under Section 12.0 of The Delaware Regulations Governing the Construction and Use of Wells to construct a Public well for a real estate sales office. The property is located on 28855 Lewes-Georgetown Highway, Lewes, DE, 19958. Tax map parcel # 3-34-4.00-37.01.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by March 29, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
