Subaqueous Lands Lease

Vista Condo Association (3-34-20.18-104.00) – To construct a 4 by 110 foot long pier, a 6 by 30 foot long dock, and a 4 by 30 foot long finger pier for community use in Rehoboth Bay at Vista Condos, Vista Road, Dewey Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Foreside Commons HOA (1-34-12.00-322.00) – To attach a 3.5 by 10 foot long gangway to a previously grandfathered structure and to install a 3.5 by 10 foot long floating dock and a 5 by 14 foot long floating kayak dock for community use in White Creek at the terminus of Daisey Avenue, Foreside Commons, Ocean View, Sussex County, DE.

Joseph McKee (5-33-19.12-71.00) – To construct a 3 by 98 foot long pier crossing federally regulated wetlands and to install a PWC lift with two (2) associated pilings and a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings to a previously authorized structure in Roy Creek at 37583 Pine Road, Keenwik, Selbyville, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Permit

Steven F. Gale (1-34-8.00-123.00) – To construct a 4 by 22 foot long dock, a jet-ski lift with one (1) associated piling and to repair 50 linear feet of bulkhead in an Unnamed Lagoon adjacent to White Creek at 31324 Bird Haven Street, Rogers Haven, Ocean View, Sussex County, DE

Daniel R. Bristow and Valerie J. Ness-Bristow (2-34-12.00-128.01) – To conduct mechanical maintenance dredging of ±53 cubic yards of material to a depth of -4 feet MLW in an existing 12 by 30 foot long boat slip in an Unnamed Lagoon within the Joy Beach Community and to dispose of the dredged material via long reach excavator from the dredged area directly to the disposal location contained by silt fence located at 8 Mallard Drive, Lewes, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Lease, Marina Permit and Wetlands

Seawinds Property Owners Association (1-34-6.00-326.00) – To maintain a 24 slip marina, and to after-the-fact authorize an existing davit in slip #3, an existing ladder in slip #5, an existing single PWC float in slip #6, an existing ladder in slip #7, an existing ladder across from slips #8 and 9, an existing boatlift in slip #9, 4 freestanding mooring pilings in slip #12, an existing boatlift in slip #14, and an existing ladder in #16, and an existing boatlift in #18, and an existing ladder in slip #22, and an existing boatlift in slip #23, and a 4 by 7 foot long set of access stairs, and to permit a blanket authorization for (1) single boat lift OR (1) single PWC float or lift or davit per slip, and (1) standard 3 by 8 foot long access ladder per slip, and to construct a 5 by 20.5 foot long 45 degree angle to the existing wetland walkway, to replace the 5 by 15 foot long and 5 foot wide by 10.5 foot long sections of wetland walkway oriented in a 90 degree angle, at the mouth of Stump Creek, adjacent to Pepper Creek, at Seawinds Marina, Dagsboro, Sussex County, DE.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice.  Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
