Subaqueous Lands Permit Applications

Toback Development LLC (334-19.00-806.00) – To construct a 6 by 50 foot long pier, and to install a 6 by 12 foot long floating kayak dock, a boatlift with four (4) associated pilings, and two PWC lifts in Bald Eagle Canal, Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club, 106 Buckingham Road, Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Toback Development LLC (334-19.00-805.00) – To install two stand-alone mooring piles and a 6 by 12 foot long floating kayak dock in Bald Eagle Canal, Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club, 104 Buckingham Road, Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Paul Burkentine and Michael Burkentine (334-13.00-1755.00) – To construct a 4 by 17 foot long pier, a 6 by 60 foot long dock and two (2) boatlifts with four (4) associated pilings each in the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal at 55 Thompson Court, Canal Corkran, Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Wetlands Permit Applications

Timothy Frank Family Trust (134-23.16-347.00) – To restore and enhance 543 square feet of state regulated wetlands in the rear portion of the property by removing historically placed fill and planting salt marsh vegetation at 806 South Schulz Road, Fenwick Island, Sussex County, DE

Subaqueous Lands Lease Applications

Kurt J. Reuther and Pamela M. Reuther (234-17.12-85.00) – To remove an existing structure and to construct a 4 by 30 foot long pier, a 3 by 12 foot long gangway and to install a 6 by 30 foot long floating dock in Herring Creek at 28 Sloan Road, Harbeson, Sussex County, DE.

Heidi Gilmore and Kevin Gilmore (234-18.00-53.00) – To construct a 4 by 50 foot long pier extension, a 6 by 25 foot long dock and a boatlift with four (4) associated pilings and to create a hybrid living shoreline by installing approximately 163 linear feet of rip-rap (~70 cubic yards) and to plant Spartina alterniflora and Spartina patens plugs across 1,630 square feet in Herring Creek at 24353 Thorneby Terrace, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Lease Renewal Applications

Lazy Pine Retreat LLC (334-18.00-29.00) – To utilize and maintain a 5 by 46 foot long pier and a 6 by 52 foot long dock in Love Creek at 33936 Lazy Lane, Lazy Pine Retreat, Lewes, Sussex County, DE.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice. Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
