Normaco requests a construction permit to add two new chemicals to their pharmaceutical manufacturing process at their 500 Swedes Landing Road, Wilmington, New Castle County, facility. The process will be permitted to emit 1.5 tons per year of n-Heptane and 1.5 tons per year of Isooctane by Permit# APC-2019/0086. Total facility wide VOC and total facility wide HAP emissions will not change.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending May 23, 2019. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
